Police Reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Butler City

July 18 — Ruthann Y. McConahy, 34, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanors for driving under the influence after police said she crashed her vehicle June 24 on Walker Avenue. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later blood test showed McConahy’s blood-alcohol content at .15%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is .08%.

Butler Township

July 18 — Shawn M. Fulmer, 32, of East Brady, was charged with four felony counts and one misdemeanor count of DUI after police said he crashed his vehicle June 6 on Belmont Road. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed Fulmer’s blood-alcohol content to be at .284% with traces of marijuana in his system.

July 18 — Holly L. Tweed, 37, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor theft after police said she left Walmart with more than $290 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

July 19 — Darrin J. Dibiccaro, 52, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanors for possessing drug paraphernalia and a summary charge of disorderly conduct after police said he was involved in a domestic dispute, was shouting threats at police officers and was found to have a marijuana pipe on him when searched.

July 25 — Donald L. Stoughton, 64, of Butler, and motorcyclists Linda R. Stark, 68, Ronald E. Nye, 74, and passenger Beverly J. Nye, 70, all of New York, were involved in a vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 8 and Cooledge Street July 22.

July 25 — Ashley M. Stewart, 32, and Dustin P. Miller, 30, both of Butler, were involved in a vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 8 and Evans City Road July 22. Police said Stewart was cited for not driving at a safe speed and Miller was charged with a misdemeanor DUI and for driving without a license.

July 29 — Jessica M. Wichman, 37, of Butler, was charged with a misdemeanor DUI after police said she crashed her vehicle July 14 Whitestown Road.

State police, Butler,

July 22 — Lexi R. Peoples, 21, of Cranberry Township, was charged with four misdemeanor counts of DUI after police said she crashed her vehicle April 17 on Benbrook Road, Center Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and Peoples told police she had smoked marijuana earlier that day.

July 22 — Joyce A. Buchanan, 60, of Butler, was charged with a misdemeanor for not restraining her dogs after police said six of her dogs were running on Jamison Road, Center Township. One of those dogs was classified as a dangerous dog, according to police.

July 25 — Amber R. Wallace, 41, of West Sunbury, was charged with a felony and a misdemeanor for delivering a false statement while trying to purchase a firearm after police said she answered two background questions incorrectly when applying for a firearm.

July 25 — Lawrence E. Burke, 74, of Allison Park, Allegheny County was charged with four felony counts of DUI and two misdemeanors counts of possessing drug paraphernalia after police said he crashed his vehicle June 15 on North Duffy Road, Center Township. Police said marijuana cigarettes and a ceramic smoking pipe were found outside the crashed vehicle and a later blood test showed Burke’s blood-alcohol content at .16% with traces of marijuana and gabapentin.

July 25 — Russell G. Watt, 43, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanors for possession of drug paraphernalia and misrepresenting themselves to a police officer after police said they stopped him July 23 on Route 8 in Clay Township. Police said Watt gave a fake name to the officer who questioned him and four empty stamp bags were found on his person during a search. Watt has a warrant for his arrest out of Beaver County, according to police.
