The Saxonburg Clear Creek Cottage team defeated Moniteau Friday, 5-4, in the Allegheny River League North Division Championship at Laura Doerr Park in Jefferson Township. Saxonburg finished in second place out of 10 teams in the regular season. During the playoffs, it defeated teams from Center Township and Butler en route to the championship game. This is the second straight season a Saxonburg team has won its Pony division in the Allegheny River League.
