June 29 — David W. Stanley, 48, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault after police said he punched a child in the face.

Cranberry Twp

June 28 — Michael A. Mignanelli, 42, of Zelienople, was charged with felony counts of forgery, theft and unauthorized device access, as well as misdemeanor bad checks after police said he tried to cash a $3,416 check designated as fraud by issuer, Roman’s Lawn and Landscape.

State Police

June 29 — Charles V. Dombroski, 27, of Gibsonia, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police said they stopped him on South Chestnut Street, Butler. Police said field sobriety tests showed Dombroski was impaired, and a later blood test showed meth and fentanyl in his system.

June 29 — Charges were filed against two men stemming from an April 10 traffic stop on Interstate 79, Jackson Township. Nathan J. Vanderzee, 42, of Butler Township, was charged with misdemeanor drug possession, and John E. Kuhn, 62, of Connoquenessing Township, was charged with drug and paraphernalia possession. Police said they arrested Vanderzee on an active warrant and found him with four stamp bags of suspected heroin. Police said they then searched the vehicle and found Kuhn in possession of 19 stamp bags of suspected heroin.

June 29 — Isaiah Peterson-Burkes, 25, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police said they investigated a June 27 report of a man lying along Interstate 79. Witnesses told police Peterson-Burkes had been driving a vehicle shortly before getting out and walking along the road. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired. Police said Peterson-Burkes later refused to have his blood tested.

June 29 — Frederick E. Wise Jr., 26, of Parker, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police said they investigated a two-vehicle crash on Oneida Valley Road, Allegheny Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed Wise was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood-alcohol content at 0.142%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

June 29 — Elizabeth M. Kubiak, 24, of Butler Township, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police said they stopped her June 25 on Freeport Road, Summit Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed Kubiak was impaired, and a later breath test showed her blood-alcohol content at 0.102%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

June 29 — Melissa A. Confer, 32, of Bruin, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police said she was stopped June 25 on Post Office Street, Bruin. Police said field sobriety tests showed Confer was impaired, and a later breath test showed her blood-alcohol content at 0.223%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

June 28 — Patrick J. Owens, 23, of Meadville, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police said they stopped him May 29 on Harmony Road, Slippery Rock Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired. Police said Owens later refused to have his blood tested.

June 27 — Dominic A. Martinka, 23, of Brackenridge, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police said they stopped him Feb. 27 on Kiester Road, Slippery Rock Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed Martinka was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood-alcohol content at 0.103%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
