Volunteers from East Brady Area Development Corporation worked to beautify the space around the local community center sign at Kelly’s Way and Ferry Street on Monday afternoon.
The process included six volunteers shoveling dirt, planting shrubs and raising directional signage on the corner, according to Toni Henry, a member of the development corporation.
Local entities like the East Brady Laundromat contributed water for the new plants, while others like the Farmer’s National Bank gave funds toward the materials and planting process.
