Another crash happened Thursday at the intersection of Route 8 and Airport Road in Penn Township where a fatal accident occurred a week earlier.

Thursday’s two-vehicle accident was reported at 7:52 p.m. and resulted in one female being transported to a hospital for an evaluation.

The township fire department and Butler Ambulance Service responded to the crash and cleared the scene in about 40 minutes.

On June 2, Ed Shields, the owner of Ed Shields Realtor in Penn Township, died in a two-vehicle crash at the same intersection just after 4 p.m.
