Butler Twp

May 27 — Police said residents received text messages from an unknown number asking for additional money to deliver a package that was not properly labeled. The U.S. Postal Service does not send text messages asking for added fees to deliver packages.

May 26 — Cheryl A. Slater, 64, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police investigated an April 13 car crash on Greenwood Drive. Police said Slater drove his vehicle off the road and through someone’s yard. Police said she was taken to a hospital for minor injuries and while there tests showed her blood-alcohol content at .290%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is .08%.

3:14 p.m. May 26 — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Route 8 near Baglier Buick. Police said Gerald Miller, 33, of Mars, exited the dealership’s parking lot and failed to yield to a vehicle driven by Dillan Surrena, 29, of Boyers. Police said neither Miller or Surrena sought treatment at the scene.

7:40 a.m., May 25 — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Route 8 North. Police said Jack Osberg, 27, of Butler, crashed his vehicle into the back of one driven by Evan Weston, 18, of Butler. Police said Weston had stopped suddenly for a deer. Police said neither driver was injured.

Cranberry Twp

May 26 — Marco L. Gomez, age unknown, of Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault after police said he hit a pregnant woman during a May 25 incident at their home.

Jackson Twp

May 26 — Nicholas R. Evans, 23, of Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police investigated a May 24 crash on Route 19 near Zehner School Road. Police said field sobriety tests showed Evans was impaired.

May 26 — Willard J. Tillotson III, 34, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor counts of drug possession and drug paraphernalia possession after police responded to a May 5 complaint at Northgate Plaza about a man flashing people. Police said Tillotson matched the description of the man involved, and while they talked to him they spotted drugs and associated paraphernalia in his vehicle.

Middlesex Twp

May 26 — John Kobik, 71, of Saxonburg, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police said they stopped him May 14 on Glade Mill Road for crossing lines on the road. Police said field sobriety tests showed Kobik was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood-alcohol content at .167%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is .08%.

Slippery Rock

May 25 — Hugh A. Pushko, 46, of Slippery Rock, was charged with felony DUI of controlled substance after police said they stopped him for an expired inspection sticker April 25 on Oak Street. Police said field sobriety tests showed Pushko was impaired, and a later blood test showed meth and fentanyl in his system.

State Police

May 27 — David B. Fellabaum, 19, of Butler, was charged with felony drug sales and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession after police said they stopped him May 26 on Interstate 79 for an expired registration and tinted windows. Police said they later found a total of 40 THC cartridges in the vehicle.

May 25 — Adam J. Zahren, 29, of Renfrew, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police investigated a May 23 crash on Powder Mill Road, Connoquenessing Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed Zahren was impaired, and a later breath tests showed his blood-alcohol content at .170%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is .08%.
