The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advised motorists traveling between the Butler Valley Interchange, Exit 39, and the Cranberry Interchange, Exit 28, of lane restrictions beginning Saturday evening, followed by a complete closure overnight in this area between midnight and 2 a.m.

Lane closures in both directions are slated to begin at 5 p.m. Saturday and will continue through 9 a.m. Sunday even after the interchanges have re-opened. Motorists are advised to plan ahead.

The traffic restrictions and closure at the Warrendale Tolling Point are needed to allow crews to safely install a six-lane overhead gantry in the construction zone between mileposts 28 and 31.
