Seneca Valley, KC games set for PIAA playoffs

Seneca Valley and Karns City will compete in the PIAA softball playoffs Monday afternoon.

The WPIAL Class 6A champion Raiders will host Central Dauphin or Warwick at 4 p.m. The District 9 Class 3A champion Gremlins will play Harbor Creek at 1 p.m. at Heindl Field in DuBois.

Cranberry’s Richards goes back-to-back

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Cranberry Township’s Terrian Richards, who enjoyed an owner’s win Thursday, picked up another one Friday as Rose Run Wilson won a $9,000 Conditioned Trot during harness racing action at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows.

The 4-year-old gelding won for the first time in 11 starts this year.
