Police Reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts.

Cranberry Twp

May 19 — Brian J. Miller, 33, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanor driving on a DUI-suspended license.

Police said Miller appeared for a hearing May 22 for a criminal case including charges of misdemeanor driving on a DUI -suspended license for a previous incident. Police said they watched him leave district court, enter a vehicle and drive away. Police immediately followed, stopped and charged him.

State Police

May 19 — John R. Barlow Jr., 58, of Grove City, was charged with misdemeanor DUI stemming from a two-motorcycle crash Oct. 10 on Grove City Road, Slippery Rock.

Police said when they arrived, they saw one of the two riders run into the woods. Barlow, who had remained on the scene, was taken away by EMS for treatment. Police said hospital staff later found cocaine in Barlow’s tobacco can. Police said a blood test from the night of the crash showed cocaine in Barlow’s system.

May 19 — Robin M. Heid, 43, of Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanor counts of terrorist threats, disorderly conduct and harassment related to a May 19 incident, according to police.

Police said Heid’s boyfriend called 911 accusing her of jumping on his vehicle, threatening him and later trying to run him off the road. The boyfriend told police Heid chased him to the Unionville Volunteer Fire Department, where firefighters assisted in stopping Heid from chasing him around the parking lot.

May 18 — Justin X. Selfridge, 27, of Karns City, was charged with multiple misdemeanors — including eight counts of theft from a vehicle and seven counts of prowling at night — related to a series of thefts along Oneida Valley Road, Concord Township, reported April 22.

Police said eight people reported money and items stolen from their vehicles, that the total value of the stolen items is about $850, and that there was about $100 worth of damage done to items or the vehicles. Police said they identified Selfridge through security footage in the area.

May 18 — Payton J. McKee, 19, of Fenelton, was charged with misdemeanor DUI stemming from a Jan. 5 traffic stop near the intersection of Henley Drive and Route 8, Center Township.

Police said they stopped the vehicle for traveling 55 mph in a 35-mph zone. Police said field sobriety tests showed McKee was impaired and that they found marijuana and associated paraphernalia in his possession. Police said a later blood test showed marijuana in McKee’s system.

May 17 — Dakota R. Furlong, 31, of Freeport, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a single-vehicle crash on Route 422 near the Mitchell Hill off ramp in Summit Township.

Police said Furlong was the only person in the vehicle. Police said witnesses saw Furlong swerving across lanes shortly before the crash. Police said Furlong was taken to a hospital with a head injury, and that later blood tests showed marijuana in his system.
