Karns City Area High School
The Karns City High School commencement ceremony was at 7 p.m. May 25 at Diehl Stadium at the high school.
The senior speakers were Mason McNany, Ashley Fox and Amber Maurer.
Mason is the son of Matthew and Tiffany McNany of Chicora.
He is president of the senior class, a member of the varsity football team, the weightlifting club and the student council.
He plans to attend Penn State Behrend and major in petroleum and natural gas engineering.
Ashley Fox is the daughter of Jason and Nicole Fox of Cowansville.
She is class valedictorian, a member of the varsity volleyball, softball and track and field teams, a member of the Spanish Club, president of the National Honor Society and a member of student council.
She plans to attend Gannon University as a mechanical engineering major.
Amber is the daughter of Eric and Julie Maurer of Cowansville.
She is the class salutatorian, a member of the volleyball and track and field teams, the National Honor Society, the German Club, Academic Games and the Home Economics Club.
She plans to attend Butler County Community College before transferring to the University of Pittsburgh as a civil engineering major.
Senior class officers are Mason McNany, class president; Cole Hilliard, vice president; Alyson Fennell, secretary; and Amber Maurer, treasurer.
