Tara Metz

The commencement ceremony for First Baptist Christian School, 221 E. New Castle St., will be at 7 p.m. June 3.

The student speaker will be valedictorian Tara Metz.

Tara is the daughter of Tom and Shannon Metz.

She was a member of the volleyball, travel ball and chess clubs. She won the Coaches Award, All Tournament Award, Hustle Award (twice), Most Improved Player and Most Valuable Player in volleyball. She won the All Tournament Award and Most Improved Player in basketball.

She plans to attend Butler County Community College and major in biology.
