Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School
The commencement ceremony for Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School was May 29 in the high school gymnasium in Foxburg.
Evelyn Mae Ruckdeschel was the 2022 valedictorian and Meah Madelynn Schiberl-Ielase was the salutatorian.
Evelyn is the daughter of Michael and Amanda Ruckdeschel of Emlenton. She is a member of the Academic Competition Team, Art Club, Prom Committee and Senior T-Shirt Design. Senior awards include Academic Competition 3rd place overall in propaganda, St. John’s Trust Fund Scholarship, Helmintoller Scholarship, ACV Art Competition, ACRVR Blueprint Banner Design and Student of the Month.
She plans to attend Penn State Behrend as a mechanical engineering major.
Meah is the daughter of Kevin Ielase and Holly Schiberl of Emlenton. She is a member of volleyball and softball teams, the National Honor Society, the Student Council, and is vice president of the senior class. She won the St. John’s Trust Fund Scholarship, Clarion University Counselor Leadership Scholarship, KSAC All-Conference 1st Team Volleyball, KSAC All-Conference 3rd Team District Volleyball, Student of the Month, and Student of the Week.
She plans to attend Clarion University as a nursing major.
