Zacherl

Eileen Naomi Zacherl, 82, of Saxonburg, passed away on May 30, 2022, at UPMC Passavant Hospital.

Born April 22, 1940, in Curtisville, Pa., she was the daughter of Earl Brolley and Naomi McBee Brolley.

Eileen had been the co-owner of Zacherl's Tavern, along with her husband, Ed, since 1965.

She was a member of Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church.

Eileen enjoyed reading, crocheting, going to the beach and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, Edward Zacherl, whom she married May 4, 1957; her children, Cynthia Zacherl of Lewes, Del., Eddie Zacherl of Saxonburg, and Elaine (Tom) Korbeck of Sarver; seven grandchildren, Jessica (Jeff) Carson, Josh (Jocelyn) Korbeck, Sara (Nick) Urik, Kristina (Rob) Wood, Brittany (Dylan) Booth, Christopher Zacherl and Elizabeth (Mitchell Kendall) Korbeck; and 12 great-granchildren, Ian, Ethan, Miley, Paige, Leela, Donovan, Dylan, Elena, Casmir, Addy, Ryleigh and Parker.

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, John Zacherl.

ZACHERL — Friends of Eileen Naomi Zacherl, who died Monday, May 30, 2022, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Christian Mass will be celebrated at noon Friday at Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Charles Bober officiating.

Interment will follow in Deer Creek Cemetery.
