Library to present history of Saxonburg hotels
SAXONBURG — The South Butler Community Library, 240 W Main St., will explore the history of hotels and boardinghouses once located in the Saxonburg area at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Fred Caesar, curator of Saxonburg Museum, will share photographs and details from the archives for all history buffs. Information from Judy Ferree about the history of the Hotel Saxonburg is included in the presentation.
This free event is open to all community members. Refreshments provided. No reservation needed.
