Rudolph wins big Lernerville feature

BUFFALO TWP — Coming from the seventh starting spot, Erick Rudolph picked up his first BRP Modified Tour win of the season Friday night at Lernerville Speedway.

Rudolph took the lead on the 11th lap and held it the rest of the way. Brian Swartzlander started from the ninth spot and wound up second.

Rudolph earned the $2,500 first-place money by winning the 35-lap event.

In other features, AJ Flick started up front in the Sprint race and led all 25 laps for his second win of the season at the Sarver oval. Will Thomas took the lead in the RUSH Late Model feature on Lap 17 and held on for the win. That guarantees him a starting spot in the Bill Emig Memorial June 23-24-25 during the Big River Steel Firecracker 100 weekend.
