BUFFALO TWP — Steady rain Friday forced cancellation of the Fab4 racing program at Lernerville Speedway.

Action retutrns to the Sarver oval May 13 with the “Willie & Conda McConnell Memorial,” featuring the Zimmer’s United Late Model Series joining the Fab4 program.

Coach of Year

SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University’s Matt Meredith has been named PSAC West Coach of the Year in women’s tennis.

Meredith guided The Rock to a 15-7 overall record, 5-1 in PSAC West matches. SRU’s Adrian Gonzalez Sanchez and Lois Page made first team All-PSAC West singles and doubles. Gabriela Del Val Del Toro made second team singles.
