KC graduate shines for Clarion

CLARION — Karns City graduate Alyssa Stitt delivered a walk-off two-run single Friday, lifting the Clarion University softball team to a 4-3 win over Pitt-Johnstown in the first game of a doubleheader.

Stitt had two singles and three RBI in the game. She has at least one RBI in each of her last five games, seven in her last two.

Clarion dropped the second game, 8-2.
