Middlesex Twp

April 18 — Connie S. Cranden, 37, of Valencia, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault related to an April 12 domestic incident on Brook Lane.

Police talked with Cranden’s mother at the scene, who told police Cranden had slapped and punched her.

State Police, Butler

April 18 — Charles R. Black, 38, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanor false identification after allegedly giving police the wrong name during an April 16 investigation into a domestic altercation.

April 18 — Brian L. Scott, 36, of Petrolia, was charged with misdemeanor DUI, drug possession, marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a single-vehicle crash April 17 on Route 36, Oakland Township.

Police found Scott being treated in an ambulance and discovered he had a warrant for his arrest from the Butler County Sheriff’s Office. Police said they spotted suspected meth and other drug paraphernalia in plain view inside the vehicle. Police said Scott later refused to have his blood tested.

April 18 — Alicia M. Velez, 21, of Butler, was charged with felony burglary and misdemeanor counts of trespass, prowling and criminal mischief related to a domestic incident April 15 at a home on Moore Road, Center Township.

Police talked with the resident who claimed Velez, his ex-girlfriend, had broken into his home, damaged his property and refused to leave. Police said Velez had fled the home before they arrived, but later told officers she went to retrieve her property from the home. Police said Velez was awarded a PFA against the former boyfriend on April 14.

April 14 — Mark A. Koebler, 46, of Prospect, was charged with misdemeanor DUI and marijuana possession stemming from a March 25 traffic stop on Route 422, Franklin Township.

Police stopped the vehicle for a broken headlight. Police said field sobriety tests showed Koebler was impaired, and later blood tests showed marijuana, fentanyl and buprenorphine in his system.
