Freeport High School third baseman Jim Rykaceski gets tagged by Butler catcher Jack Cypher in a game at Pullman Park April 28, 1967. The Butler High Tornado bested Freeport 3-1 in a game where Butler right-handed pitcher Tim Manor only allowed two hits. The win unexpectedly broke Butler’s losing streak, after Freeport scored early in the game before the Tornado could recover with three runs in the sixth inning. Butler Eagle File Photo
