Cheryl Schuster, 74, of Mars, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus, surrounded by family Tuesday, April 5, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rich and Delilace Ley.

Cheryl was an active member of Lifeway Baptist Church and also worked as a private caregiver for ARC and PARC of Butler. She was involved in the Praying Aunties Charity, which supports girls from forced prostitution in India and their aftercare homes.

She is survived by her husband, Gordon, of Valencia and Florida; and her sons, Jim (Megan) of Florida and Brandon (Katie) of Valencia. She also is survived by siblings, John (Tess) Ley of Florida, Kathy (Tommy) Conway and Colleen Ley, of Bellevue. She was Grandma Sunshine to six grandchildren, and GiGi to two great-grandchildren, with a third on the way.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Linda (surviving Peter) Ciccarelli.

SCHUSTER — A celebration of life for Cheryl Schuster, who died Tuesday, April 5, 2022, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Lifeway Baptist Church, 28 Rolling Road, Cranberry Township.
