SV grad Kiggins keys GCC victory
GROVE CITY — Seneca Valley graduate Elyse Kiggins, a freshman goalkeeper on the Grove City College women’s lacrosse team, matched her season-high with 15 saves in the Wolverines’ 13-5 win over Thiel.
Kiggins earned her 12th win of the season and leads the Presidents’ Athletic Conference with a 7.47 goals-against average.
Butler’s Bresnahan trains winning horse
WASHINGTON, Pa. — Gingerzzz, trained by Butler resident Nathan Bresnahan, won the Margaret Provost Memorial Trot in harness tracing action Thursday at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows.
Tylor Williams of Chicora owns the horse.
Elsewhere on the card, Slippery Rock resident Brady Brown won a $10,300 Conditioned Pace while riding 57-1 longshot Sheza Terror.
