Wanda Keller
Wanda J. Keller, 95, of Slippery Rock, passed away the evening of Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Grove Manor.
Born on Feb. 22, 1927, in West Sunbury, Wanda was the daughter of the late Ralph Wilson Dull and the late Pearl (Carothers) Dull.
She began working at the Spade Shirt Factory, making war supplies, and at the Bantam Jeep Company in Butler, making canvas. She later worked at Slippery Rock University and Slippery Rock Area School District in the custodial department.
Wanda was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Slippery Rock for more than 50 years, and was a member of the Slippery Rock American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
She loved sitting on her front porch, and enjoyed watching all of the Pittsburgh sports teams.
Wanda is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Patricia (Floyd) Craig of Grove City and Mrs. Sharon (Dennis) Lindey of Butler; two grandchildren, Timothy Craig and Corrie Nye; and three great-grandchildren, Hannah, Lillian and Ethan.
She also is survived by one brother, Mr. Gerald R. (Marilynn) Dull of Fredonia; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Irene Haas of Butler; and many nieces and nephews.
Wanda was preceded in death by her loving husband, George W. Keller, who passed away on Dec. 5, 1996; three sisters; and two brothers.
Wanda’s family wishes to extend a very special thanks to the staff at Grove Manor for the wonderful care they provided.
KELLER — There will be no public visitation for Wanda J. Keller, who died Wednesday, April 6, 2022.
Services and burial will be private in West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, West Sunbury.
