Michael Mashuda

Michael M. Mashuda, 80, of Mars, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022, while under the care of Sunnyview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Butler.

Born June 5, 1941, in Tuscarawas County, Ohio, he was the son of the late Bernie and Sophie Mashuda.

Mike proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1963-1965. He was a graduate of Notre Dame University and loved watching their football games. He also enjoyed following the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. Mike was employed for over 40 years with Mashuda Corporation. He was known for his fantastic sense of humor. Mike was very proud of his grandchildren and enjoyed attending their sporting events. Mike will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 53 years, Judith Curtis Mashuda; his four sons, Patrick Mashuda of North Carolina, Matthew (Janet) Mashuda of Mars, Justin Mashuda of Oakdale and Andrew (Tara) Mashuda of Indiana; his five grandchildren, Brett, Megan, Adam, Lukas and Madison; and his brother, Daniel Mashuda.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Mashuda.

MASHUDA — Friends of Michael M. Mashuda, who died Friday, March 25, 2022, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the BOYLAN-GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SVCS., 130 Wisconsin Ave./ PO Box 2155, Cranberry Township.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation, 200 SE 1st St., Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131 (or donate online at www.parkinson.org), or to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053 (or donate online at https://butlercountyhs.org/).
