God is the color of love
I have been reading the Eagle where RV has written about CRT, racism, are we born racist, and losing interest in going to church!
No one seems to respond, why?
Read Mark 10: 13-16 and God says “Red and Yellow, Black and White, all are precious in his sight!” It doesn’t say white is No. 1.
Because Jesus was born in Bethlehem, I think he is a dark-skinned man. So he certainly doesn’t approve of racism.
I don’t believe babies are born racist, but are born into a world of evil. As they grow, they will reach a point of making their thoughts about right and wrong.
Right now we all watch and wonder about Ukraine and Russia. Can anyone besides God stop this? Easter is coming, I wish ministers would talk to us about all this evilness.
I see in the paper local schools are in disagreement about CRT. Teachers can be responsible and teach history about everything. I believe they are trying to all do their job.
Our world is full of history. We can’t just jump over things because we don’t agree. If I were African American, I would want my stories told.
So I believe God is the color of love. We are all equal in his eyes. It’s up to us to mend fences and live better, moral lives and be thankful we live in Butler — not in Ukraine or Russia.
Don’t like your neighbor? Set an Easter basket of hope on their porch. If they’re old or poor, fill it with food or medical things.
Thanks RV for your write-ups.
