GC High School to perform ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’
Grove City High School will present the musical, “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” at 7 p.m. March 31 through April 2 in the high school theater, 511 Highland Ave.
Tickets are available at the door for $5 for students and seniors, and $7 for adults.
The show is directed by Patrick McElroy. The vocal director is Hannah Flowers. The student director is Maira Ligo.
Ashley Hazy is the choreographer. Andrew Garay is the orchestra conductor. The stage manager is Quinn Anderson
Based on the Bible story, “Joseph” follows preferred son, Joseph, and his family of jealous brothers. After being given a magnificent, colorful coat by his father, Jacob, Joseph’s brothers sell him into slavery in Egypt. The plot focuses on one man’s use of his gifts to make the most of his situation, as well as forgiveness and restoration of family.
