Robert Jarosinski
Robert Paul “Bull” Jarosinski, 57, of Sarver, passed peacefully in his home on March 8, 2022, following a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born April 4, 1964, in Natrona Heights, to Richard and Constance (Dabkowski) Jarosinski.
Robert was a devoted husband and father. He and his wife, Peg (Cravener) Jarosinski, married in February 2006, and had three children, whom he adored, his daughter, Julie M. Jarosinski of Sarver, and two sons, Robert P. Jarosinski of Sarver and Devin E. Earney of Clarion.
Rob graduated from Freeport Area High School in 1982, where he enjoyed playing football under the leadership of coaches Don Earley, Bill Dillen and Gary Kepple. He attended Clarion State College to obtain a bachelor’s degree in education, and was a four-year starting linebacker. Following a brief teaching and coaching experience, Robert earned a diploma from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1991, and spent the next 31 years as a compassionate funeral director, most recently employed at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home since 2014.
An avid outdoorsman, Robert lived to hunt and fish, a passion he shared with his young son, Robert. He also enjoyed softball and golf, which he played with his eldest son, Devin.
Robert shared his love of running with his daughter, Julie. He ran many local 5Ks and half marathons until ultimately finishing the Pittsburgh Full Marathon in 2018. Robert was inducted into the Armstrong County Sports Hall of Fame, Class of 2018 and was a member of the Tarentum District Sportsmen’s Club.
Robert was a member of St. Francis of Assisi at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cabot.
In addition to his wife, children and parents, Rob is survived by his brothers, Richard J. and his wife, Jane Ellen (Bentley) Jarosinski, and Michael A. and his wife, Patricia (Palovchak) Jarosinski; one niece, Erin Jarosinski; and two nephews, Michael D. Jarosinski and Kevin P. Jarosinski.
JAROSINSKI — Per his wishes, there will be no public visitation for Robert Paul “Bull” Jarosinski, who died Tuesday, March 8, 2022.
A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
