Pitt basketball surprises UNC
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Ithiel Horton scored 19 points and John Hugley added 18 as Pitt (10-16) surprised North Carolina (18-8), 76-67, in men’s basketball Wednesday night.
The Panthers had a 40-23 lead at halftime and sank 10 of 17 3-point shots.
