Donald Zinkhann

Zinkhann

Donald Earl Zinkhann, 82, of Evans City, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022, while under the care of Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.

Born Jan. 29, 1939, in Forward Township, he was the son of the late Earl P. Zinkhann and Gladys G. (Baker) Zinkhann.

Don was a lifetime member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Evans City.

He worked for the Zelienople Greenhouse for 33 years.

Don will be remembered for his contagious smile and caring nature. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his brothers, David (Gerry) Zinkhann and Dean (Kimberlee) Zinkhann.

He was the best uncle to David (Laura) Zinkhann, Tamara (Patrick) Schoeffel, Dana (Thomas) Nicklas, Stori (Andrew) Edgar, Sha (Michael) Dubois, Megan (Evan) Carrier and Ashlee Zinkhann.

He also leaves behind seven great-nephews; seven great-nieces, including Aviannah, whom he shared a special relationship; and one great-great-nephew.

ZINKHANN — Private family services for Donald Earl Zinkhann, who died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022, will be held at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 116 E. Main St., Evans City.

He will be laid to rest at Evans City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his honor to Zelienople-Harmony Meals on Wheels, or the EDCO Park Foundation.
