Ryan J. Bromberg, 49, of Jackson Township, passed away peacefully after a sudden and unexpected medical emergency on Jan. 21, 2022.

Ryan was born on June 11, 1972, the son of Eugene and Carol (Doloughty) Bromberg.

He was the beloved husband of Carolyn (Streza) Bromberg, whom he married on Oct. 9, 1999; and the loving father of Justin, 14; and Allison, 10.

Ryan is also survived by his brother, Gene (Lindsay) and their children, Reese and Piper; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, William and Elaine (Heyl) Strobel; his brother-in-law, Michael (Elizabeth) and their children, Zachary, Jacob, Caitlyn and Matthew; and his stepbrothers-in-law, Eric (Melissa) and Bill (Kim) Strobel.

Ryan was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Tom Streza.

Ryan was a Penn State graduate and a longtime employee at Williams.

He was an avid sports fan and loved spending time with his family and many friends. Along with his wonderful sense of humor, Ryan was a kind and generous man. His generosity will live on by giving hope and life to others.

BROMBERG — Family and friends of Ryan J. Bromberg, who died Friday, Jan. 21, 2022, are welcome from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 9:30 to 10:50 a.m. Friday at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Matt Klenk officiating.

Interment will follow at St. Gregory Cemetery, Zelienople.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Ryan’s name to the Center for Organ Recovery & Education (CORE).
