LaVonne Jack
LaVonne Shively Jack, 89, of Orchard Manor, Grove City, formerly of Butler, passed away early Friday morning, Jan. 21, 2022, in Grove City, following a period of declining health.
Born July 30, 1932, in Butler County, she was the daughter of the late George Leslie and Fannie Jane Kriebel Shively.
She was married on June 22, 1951, to James Paul “Jim” Jack, who passed away Aug. 23, 2011.
LaVonne was a lifelong member of the now Evangelical Presbyterian Church at Fairview.
She had been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She enjoyed cooking and completing crossword puzzles.
Surviving are a grandson and his wife, Nick and Amanda Graham of Slippery Rock; her sisters, Mary Shively of Butler, and Hilda (John) Christie of West Palm Beach, Fla.; three brothers, Leslie Shively of Grove City, Neil Shively of Butler, and Jeff (Pam) Shively of Karns City; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Shively.
JACK — A private family visitation and service for LaVonne Shively Jack, who died Friday, Jan. 21, 2022, will be held Friday at H. JACK BUZARD FUNERAL HOME, 201 S. Washington St., Eau Claire.
LaVonne will then be laid to rest with her late husband at Bear Creek Cemetery in Petrolia.
