Adams Township supervisors honored longtime Adams residents and volunteers George and Aileen Cudoc at a meeting Monday night.

The Cudocs have picked up trash along roads in the township on their daily walks for more than 40 years.

George Cudoc said he and Aileen walk and pick up trash across 1,700 miles each year.

“We wave to everybody with the hopes that the people who are inconsiderate enough to throw out trash might think of a friendly neighbor and not throw out trash,” he said.
