Group offers tried and true recipes

Linda Moser is part of a group of women who bake Christmas cookies for sale at North Butler Presbyterian Church.

“Each baker bakes 10 dozen of their specialty, no duplicates. The day of the sale we go to church around 10 o'clock in the morning, pack 140 dozen and have them ready to go out the door by 11 o'clock,” said Moser. “We have been doing this for years and have many, many repeat customers.”

Moser said, “Many of these recipes have been handed down from generation to generation and are family favorites.”
