Hi Caitlyn,

So, here we are, another “first”…this Memorial Tribute will not be the ordinary tribute because you were anything but ordinary, YOU WERE EXTRAORDINARY. YOU, Caitlyn, have touched so many lives, far beyond our family circle. YOU, are missed beyond measure by your Dad, Tyler, Alysa, Mav, Mia, Zeus, and of course me but, YOU know that because you are always with us. We have learned, since your passing, to Walk by Faith and Not by Sight. YOU, have taught us that and so much more!! It goes without saying that your Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends, Co-Workers, and even your patients miss you. You were truly an AMAZING young lady and I am sure YOU are doing GREAT things in Heaven! I can see you trying to take charge and handle everything on your own, because that was YOU and who you were and are. YOU, were incredibly strong, incredibly brave, and someone I Aspire to be like you.

It’s been 365 days since we last spoke and although time has gone by so quickly, it also seems to have paused. What we wouldn’t give to hit the rewind button to earlier days. We do have our memories, pictures, and videos of you and I for one, watch them often, well…everyday!!

I want you to know, that I am so THANKFUL that God chose me to be YOUR MOM!!! I know your DAD feels the same way along with Tyler and Alysa!! WE WERE BLESSED TO HAVE YOU FOR 26 YEARS, YOU MADE US COMPLETE!! YOU, MADE US WHOLE! We are learning to navigate through these new waters without your presence and it is challenging but we are all prepared to do that for you.

Someone told me just recently, people don’t forget people like Caitlyn, and you know honey, they are right, YOU will never be forgotten, not because of anything I do or we do as your family, but, because of who you were and continue to be!

My heart breaks having to write this but know I was SO PROUD OF YOU IN LIFE AND I CONTINUE TO BE PROUD OF YOU IN DEATH!!! I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART AND SOUL! THE BOND WILL NEVER BE BROKEN!!
