Wampum hosts Christmas parade
The Wampum Area 49th Annual Christmas Parade returns beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday. This hour-long tradition kicks off at with a confetti bomb start. Attendees will see familiar favorites including homemade floats, marching bands, candy-filled piñatas, dancers, horses, dogs, costumed characters and local dignitaries. The parade will be dedicated to the late Frank N. Yoho Jr., a Wayne Township resident who portrayed Santa Claus in the parade for 28 years before he died June 26.
