Frederick E. Wise Sr.

Frederick E. Wise Sr., 48, of Parker, passed away at Butler Memorial Hospital on Friday, Oct. 29, 2021, after a long courageous battle with COVID-19.

Fred was born in Butler, on July 8, 1973. He graduated from Knoch High School in 1991. After graduating Fred worked selflessly as the proud owner and operator of Fred Wise and Sons Construction, but in his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Wise, of 25 years, whom he married Jan. 29, 1996; his children, Frederick Wise Jr., Austin Wise and Cody Wise of Parker; his granddaughter, Paisley Flynn; and his nephew, Peiton Forsythe, who resided with him. He is also survived by his father, Raymond Wise Sr. of Parker; and mother, Judith Wise of Butler; his brothers Raymond Wise Jr., Richard Wise, Alvin Wise and Jodi Grant; his sister, Mary Alice Wise; and many nieces and nephews.

Fred was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frederick and Elizabeth Costa and Alvin and Alice Wise.

Wise Sr. — Friends of Frederick E. Wise Sr., who died Friday, Oct. 29, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home in Eau Claire, 201 S. Washington St.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
