SENTENCINGS
Defendants in criminal cases were sentenced Thursday in Common Pleas Court by Judge Timothy F. McCune.
Jason Lee Armour, 42, of Sarver was sentenced to serve 36 months of probation after pleading guilty to charges of simple assault and terroristic threats filed by state police following a January incident.
Lisa Marie Coates, 57, of Butler was sentenced to pay a $200 fine after pleading guilty to a charge of retail theft filed by Butler Township police following a January incident.
Philip Anthony Rienzi, 46, of Butler was sentenced to serve 24 months of probation and perform 30 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a charge of ethnic intimidation filed by Butler City police following a July 2020 incident.
Amy Lauren Metheney, 37, of Pittsburgh was sentenced to serve six months of probation, pay fines totaling $800, pay $50 in restitution to the Treesdale Country Golf and Club in Gibsonia and complete alcohol highway safety school, a victim impact panel and litter pick-up after pleading guilty to charges of DUI and accidents involving damage to unattended property filed by Adams Township police following a September 2020 incident.
James Lawrance Musser III, 40, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 12 to 36 months of probation after pleading guilty to charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person filed by Butler city police following a December 2019 incident. He was given prison sentences of six to 18 months for the simple assault and reckless endangerment charges, but was immediately paroled on both charges.
