SLIPPERY ROCK — Three Slippery Rock University athletes have been accorded PSAC West Athlete of the Week honors.

Placekicker DJ Opsatnik is Special Teams Athlete of the Week after scoring eight points — five PATs and a field goal — in SRU’s 38-26 football victory over California (Pa.).

Jermaine Wynn Jr. was named Football Offensive Player of the Week after catching 10 passes for 169 yards and two touchdowns against the Vulcans.

Women’s soccer goalkeeper Emma Yoder was named Defensive Athlete of the Week after making nine saves and recording a shutout against Gannon. She has eight shutouts on the year.
