SR's Brown wins 3 days in row

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Slippery Rock resident Brady Brown drove a horse to victory for the third straight day during harness racing action Thursday at The Meadows.

Brown triumphed Thursday with Dontholdanythinbak, the 3-year-old gelding winning a $9,500 Conditioned Pace.

Lampus shines in Titans’ victory

NEW WILMINGTON — Freeport graduate Lauren Lampus tallied 15 kills and 12 digs Thursday in Westminster College’s 3-1 Presidents’ Athletic Conference women’s volleyball semifinal win over Grove City.

Seneca Valley graduate Anna DeGraaf had 13 kills and three blocks for Grove City while Butler graduate Gabby Lucas had nine digs.

The Titans host Bethany for the PAC title Saturday afternoon.
