COLUMBUS, Ohio — Deleah Gibson and Isabellah Middleton scored 13 points each, but Slippery Rock University’s women’s basketball team dropped a 96-48 exhibition game at No. 17 Ohio State Wednesday night.

Jamiyah Johnson had 11 points and 12 rebounds for SRU, which plays another exhibition game Tuesday at Akron.

Hevynne Bristow scored 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds for the Buckeyes. OSU forced The Rock into 33 turnovers, resulting in 42 points.

OSU had a 44-35 advantage in rebounds.

The Rock begins the regular season Nov. 12-13 at the Earl Lloyd Classic in Institute, W.Va.
