Oct. 28 — Jacob R. Henry, 27, of Butler, was charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from a Sept. 19 traffic stop at the intersection of New Castle and Barracks roads, Butler Township.Police said they stopped the vehicle for crossing lines on the road. Police said while speaking with Henry, they smelled alcohol, and field sobriety tests showed he was impaired.Police said a later blood test showed Henry's blood-alcohol content at .193%, and in Pennsylvania, a level of .08% is considered intoxicated.Oct. 28 — Paula M. Moore, 50, of Lyndora, was charged with a first-offense DUI, related to an Aug. 26 report of a car traveling without a tire on its wheel.Police said they located and followed the vehicle, then stopped it in the parking lot of Butler Memorial Hospital. Police said Moore appeared intoxicated, and they saw a bottle of whiskey on the floor of the vehicle and pill bottle inside.Police said they found one pill bottle containing marijuana and another containing Clonazepam.Oct. 28 — Roy A. Jackson, 71, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors leaving the scene of a crash and multiple DUI charges, related to a Sept. 2 hit-and-run crash on New Castle Road in front of VA Butler Healthcare.Police said they met with one driver at the scene, who said Jackson claimed there was no damage involved and drove away.Police said when they caught up with Jackson, he smelled of alcohol. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired.Police said a later blood test showed Jackson's blood-alcohol content at .130%, as well as the presence of marijuana and hydrocodone. In Pennsylvania, a blood-alcohol content of .08% is considered intoxicated.12:24 p.m. Oct. 28 — Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Whitestown Road.Police said John J. Tuka, 38, of Butler, crashed his motorcycle, but he was uninjured.7:46 p.m. Oct. 23 — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of New Castle and North Duffy roads, Butler Township.Police said Jamie Denelle, 39, of Hermitage, turned her vehicle left in front of another vehicle driven by Randy Hartman, 41, of Cabot.Police said Denelle was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital and Hartman was uninjured. Police said Denelle will receive a traffic citation.

Oct. 26 — Michael N. Oldaker, 44, of East Liverpool, Ohio, was charged with misdemeanors first-offense DUI, drug possession and drug paraphernalia possession, related to an Oct. 26 report of a driver slumped in his vehicle on the 1300 block of Old Freedom Road, Cranberry Township.Police said upon arrival, they found the vehicle and Oldaker, and he was unable to complete field sobriety tests.Police searched the vehicle and Oldaker, finding drug paraphernalia, one stamp bag of suspected heroin, several rocks of suspected crack cocaine and a folded paper of suspected powder cocaine, according to documents. Police said a blood test was later collected, but the results were not available in the court document.Oct. 23 — Madison R. Guthrie, 25, of Mars, was charged with misdemeanors retail theft and drug possession, related to a July 8 incident at Walmart in Cranberry Township.Police said store employees stopped Guthrie, who was attempting to leave with about $250 worth of items.Police said as they talked with Guthrie, she allowed them to search her purse, where they found three pills of diazepam and one pill of oxycodone.

Oct. 25 — Lawrence R. Sadowski, 37, of Jackson Township, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault, related to an Oct. 22 disturbance at his home.Police said they received an additional report from Sadowski's mother that he had hit her.Police said they talked with both of Sadowski's parents who said over the course of a few days, their son had been drinking and abusing them.Police said they took Sadowski to a hospital for evaluation, after which he will be arrested on the charges.
