GROVE CITY — Seneca Valley graduate and Grove City College freshman men's cross country runner Jonah DeWitt has been named Presidents' Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week in the sport.

DeWitt was GCC's top runner at Oberlin's Inter-Regional Rumble.

Cranberry Township resident and GCC freshman Natalie Merrick was named PAC Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week. She scored the game-winning goal in Grove City's 1-0 win over Chatham.

It was her first collegiate goal.
