Middlesex Twp. cancels meeting, plans parks committee projects
The Middlesex Township board of supervisors work session on Wednesday has been canceled due to an inability to meet a quorum of available supervisors.
Township manager Adam Hartwig said that the Grey Hawk development, which was discussed at the last board meeting, will be on the agenda at the next scheduled meeting at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 20.
At the last meeting, a representative from Victor Wetzel Associates shared final documents for the Grey Hawk planned residential development with the township supervisors. The plan will be voted on at the next meeting, likely with some revisions after engineer discussion.
Parks and Recreation committee
Middlesex Township also has formally put together its Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee, a project proposed in August.
The committee is made up of local residents and will report to the board of supervisors to provide recommendations and develop plans for new updates to Middlesex Township Community Park, located behind the Middlesex municipal building at 133 Browns Hill Road.
“We are getting ready to hold our first meeting next week or the following week,” Hartwig said. “We have five people on it, and I had nine people express interest.”
Meetings will be open to the public.
“We'll start with probably quarterly meetings, and as we start to get into projects or get busy, then we're going to go quicker,” Hartwig said.
