Butler volleyball topples Mars, 3-0
Taylor Welter had 13 kills, six digs and two aces Monday night as Butler's girls volleyball team defeated Mars, 3-0.
Scores were 26-24, 25-22, 25-14.
Megan Penrod contributed four aces and 19 digs for the Golden Tornado (3-4, 4-4), who play at Hempfield Tuesday. Maisy Gibson had seven kills and six digs, Ava Plunkard three aces, three kills, five digs and 14 assists. Karns City 3, Moniteau 0 — The Gremlins won this KSAC match by scores of 25-19, 27-25, 25-14.
Emma Johns tallied four kills and eight assists and Ashley Fox seven kills and 16 digs in the win. Natalie Hess and Ava Fox both contributed five kills for KC.
