The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department is having a Community Trunk Sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

People can pay a fee of $7 per space or $10 for two spaces to sell at the Masonic Shelter in Alameda Park. Admission for shoppers is free.

Church to hold free clothing giveaway

The New Beginnings Free Methodist Church at 416 Center Ave. plans a free clothing giveaway from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 9.
