Police searching for man in laptop theft at church
State police are asking for the public's help regarding a break-in Monday at a Saxonburg church that involved the theft of laptops.
Police said between 1:45 a.m. and 2 a.m., an unknown man entered the basement area to New Life Christian Ministries.
“Upon entry, the actor broke a surveillance camera by removing it from the ceiling,” said police in a news release Tuesday.
Police said the man stole three Microsoft Office Pro laptops valued at about $1,000 each.
If anyone recognizes this individual or has information about the break-in, they are asked to call the state police Butler barracks at 724-284-8100.
