The General Richard Butler Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, will celebrate Constitution Week Sept. 17 to 23 with its annual luncheon Saturday at the Butler Country Club. The speaker will be Steve Cicero, “the History Hobo.” He will give a presentation on the legacy of Sept. 11.

In addition, the chapter passed out Constitution booklets to school children, and placed Constitution Week posters at the Butler Public Library and the Connoquenessing post office.

The chapter also asks everyone to ring their bells at 4 p.m. Sept. 17 to celebrate the signing of the Constitution on Sept. 17, 1787, in Philadelphia.
