Landon Mohney continued his hot start to the high school boys soccer season in Butler's 4-0 win at Indiana Saturday.

Mohney scored three goals and added an assst for the Golden Tornado (2-0). He scored three goals and an assist in Friday's victory over Derry as well.

Aidan Soley added a goal for Butler. Evan Lubinsky and Aiden Wisda had assists.

Knoch 2, Deer Lakes 1 — Nicholas Dellarosa scored both goals for the Knights. Caleb Oskin and Orrin Milcic had assists.

Thomas Jefferson 3, Slippery Rock 2 — Caleb Kuhn and Nick Kingerski scored goals for the Rockets in this West Mifflin Kickoff Classic game.

West Mifflin 2, Slippery Rock 1 — Austin Hess scored for the Rockets in the team's second West Mifflin Kickoff Classic contest.

Slippery Rock plays Tuesday at Mercer.

Cross Country

Knoch placed 23rd in the Marty Uher Invitational at California (Pa.) University. Eli Ruediger finished 47th overall in 19 minutes, 11 seconds for the Knights.
