Seneca Valley secondary campus goes remote for water issues

The Seneca Valley secondary campus at Seneca School Road moved to remote instruction for classes on September 3 due to a boil water advisory in the area.

Students in grades 7-12 are learning remotely on Friday, while students in elementary schools across Seneca Valley School District who were not affected by the advisory will continue to learn in person.

A water line break in the Harmony Water Authority area resulted in a loss of water pressure on Thursday, leading Seneca Valley to rely on water from other schools and bottled water for the remainder of the Thursday school day.

The water line break is currently being repaired, but the boil water advisory remains.
