Mars beats NA, improves to 4-0
Blake Bertolo carded a 37 as the Mars boys golf team improved to 4-0 with a 201-205 victory over North Allegheny at Butler Country Club Thursday afternoon.
Ryan Steigerwald added a 40 for the Planets.
Chris Hoffman paced NA with a 38.

Seneca Valley was able to pull out its playoff test with Pine-Richland. The Raiders and Rams both finished regulation play at 209 at Treesdale Golf Club.
SV, which was led by Luke Robertson's 38, then beat the Rams by one stroke in the initial playoff round.
P-R's Toby Kitay was medalist with a 34.

A-C Valley/Union's Max Southworth shot a 43 in Thursday's KSAC Mega Match at Clarion Oaks Golf Course.
The team placed fifth out of seven teams with 284 strokes. Clarion won with 219. The Bobcats have won all four Mega Match events this season.
Karns City, which did not field a full team, received a 48 from Chloe Fritch.
Moniteau was unable to compete due to COVID-related issues.
