These items were collected from various police departments:

Aug. 13 — Jamil J. Sessoms, 23, of Philadelphia, was charged with felony drug sales and misdemeanor drug and paraphernalia possession stemming from an Aug. 12 traffic stop.Police said they stopped the vehicle, and that they knew the driver to habitually use crack cocaine. The driver's wife was seated in the front-passenger seat, and Sessoms was sitting in the back seat.Police said they used a K-9 unit, which smelled drugs in the car. Police said they searched the car and the backpack Sessoms had with him, and found crack cocaine and packaging materials between the two searches.Police said the drugs were also marked in increments, likely noting the weights, and a digital scale was also found.

10:35 a.m. Aug. 13 — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Hansen Avenue near its intersection with Route 8 in Butler Township.Alex Hunkele, 39, of Mars, was driving south on Hansen Avenue when he allegedly failed to stop for a vehicle in front of him driven by Louise Morrell, 60, of Valencia.Police said Hunkele, who was later cited for speeding, was uninjured, and Morrell reported pain to her back and neck. Butler Township Fire District 3 and Butler Ambulance assisted at the scene.5:42 p.m. Aug. 13 — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on South Duffy Road in Butler Township.Police said Michael Wheeler, 18, of Butler, drove his vehicle into the back of another driven by Xavier Farmer. Both drivers had passengers with them, but there were no injuries reported.7:10 p.m. Aug. 13 — Police responded to a three-vehicle crash on Hansen Avenue.Police said Martin Lamnek Jr., 29, of Mars drove his vehicle into a parked car, which sent that vehicle into a third car, also parked.Police said Lamnek was not injured, but he was cited for careless driving, leaving the road and having an unregistered vehicle.

1:26 p.m. Aug. 13 — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Freeport Road in Jefferson Township.Police said Gary L. Spaulding, 67, of Butler, slowed to make a left turn when his vehicle was hit in the rear by one driven by Cecilia E. Geibel, 22, of Butler.Police said there were no injuries associated with the crash, but Geibel was cited for following too closely.
